With 25 years’ experience as a freelance structural and developmental editor of fiction and non-fiction, and a bestselling ghostwriter, Gillian brings a wealth of knowledge, passion, and dedication to nurturing fresh literary voices.

Fingerprint Editions is delighted to announce the acquisition of Made to Measure – the poignantly funny and deeply philosophical new novel from author Philippa Swan.  Told with trademark wit and full of wisdom, Swan’s novel is at once a satire of our obsession with freewill and a touching exploration of resilience, love, and the messiness of being human.  

A revisiting of Lorna Moon’s pithy Dark Star will debut at the Pitlochry Festival Theatre.  Fingerprint Editions is proud to be partnering with Pitlochry Festival Theatre for a re-visiting of Lorna Moon’s ground-breaking novel Dark Star (1929).  An innovative piece of theatre, Jack, Lorna and the Dark Star, is set to premiere at the ‘Winter Words’ festival in February 2026.

Fingerprint Editions is delighted to announce the ‘opening’ of its publication Mistress Pieces by novelist Jen Hyatt. Taking the form of an art installation, Mistress Pieces will be part of the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival in Autumn 2025.
